Square Sauzon block: the block inspired by old-fashioned iceboxes. SAUZON has been DE KERCOET’s iconic staple collection for many years.

Warm wood combined with robust industrial hardware. The cabinet features a door and a drawer on runners with integrated “soft close” shock absorbers for greater everyday comfort. The professional-quality handles are finished in chrome. The sides are “flat” but panelled, so you can build the unit in or not.

The SAUZON collection, with its elegant “old wood” finish belt, is available in the 11 original shades that make up the DE KERCOET palette.

Also available in a full “old wood” finish. OPTION opening to left or right. Worktop: end grain wood or white marble or black granite.

Solid beech, beech veneer, solid hornbeam, chromed brass, zinc alloy.

CARE

DE KERCOET furniture is crafted with the utmost care. The quality of the wood and its hand-finishing give it its unique character.

I look after my END GRAIN WOOD, and guarantee that my De Kercoet block will last for many years: On a daily basis, wipe with a clean, damp sponge, then with a soft, dry cloth. We recommend regular oiling of end grain wood (mineral or vegetable oil compatible with food contact – see De Kercoet care product) to nourish the fiber.

Leave on for around eight hours, then absorb excess oil;

Caution: direct exposure to sunlight and heat, sudden changes in temperature and low humidity can cause alterations, warping and cracking. Do not machine wash. No direct contact with hot utensils.
