Hoëdic MM island block: a block that combines elegant lines with brass hardware reminiscent of our beautiful country homes. In short, this is our “madeleine de Proust”: family furniture in all its glory, French charm par excellence! Island identical on both sides. Four drawers on wooden runners. Two connecting doors on a cupboard with middle shelf.

Worktop: end grain wood with white marble or end grain wood with black granite. The HOËDIC block, with its elegant “old wood” finish belt, is available in the 11 original shades that make up the DE KERCOET palette. Delivered assembled. Registered design.

Composition

Solid beech, beech veneer, solid hornbeam, solid brass, Ibiza-type white marble or Angolan black granite.

CARE

DE KERCOET furniture is crafted with the utmost care. The quality of the wood and its hand-finishing give it its unique character. I look after my END GRAIN WOOD, and guarantee that my De Kercoet block will last for many years: On a daily basis, wipe with a clean, damp sponge, then with a soft, dry cloth. We recommend regular oiling of end grain wood (mineral or vegetable oil compatible with food contact – see De Kercoet care product) to nourish the fiber.

Leave on for around eight hours, then absorb excess oil;

Caution: direct exposure to sunlight and heat, sudden changes in temperature and low humidity can cause alterations, warping and cracking. Do not machine wash. No direct contact with hot utensils.
