CANCALE Square Butcher Block

Description

The CANCALE Square Butcher Block carries the coastal DNA of the collection in a footprint suitable for any kitchen, regardless of size. At 61 × 61 cm, it is compact enough to tuck beside a stove, define a breakfast nook, or serve as a standalone prep station—while remaining substantial enough to command its space with quiet authority.

The removable hornbeam end-grain cutting board, featuring side grooves for easy handling, rests on the frame and provides a dense, self-healing cutting surface prized by cooks. A single soft-close drawer with a shell-style handle keeps knives and tools within reach; an open lower shelf offers generous space for bowls, linens, or serving ware.

Constructed from solid wood and beech veneer—oak upon request—the frame is finished in Vieux Bois C02, and the cabinet in a selection of De Kercoet lacquer colors or customized to your color upon request. The hardware comes in brushed brass or chrome-plated stainless steel. Optional casters and a towel bar allow you to adapt the piece to your pace.
