SAUZON GM Chopping Block

The SAUZON GM Butcher Block is the most generous single-sided piece in the collection—a fixed station designed for kitchens where storage and preparation space are never enough. While SAUZON islands are accessible from two sides, the Butcher Block is operated from just one: placed against a wall, near a stove, or at the end of a counter, it offers the organized depth that every demanding cook requires.

Two cupboards with fixed central shelves house large utensils—pots, baking trays, mixer bowls—while the two top drawers with characteristic shell pulls store linens or tableware, and three smaller drawers with solid brass handles keep knives, spices, or tools within reach. Five drawers, two cupboards: a complete storage architecture in a single piece.

The fixed worktop is available in solid hornbeam end-grain for cutting and preparation, white marble for its cool luminosity, or black granite for its mineral depth. The cabinet is lacquered in Vieux Bois C02 or one of the thirteen De Kercoet lacquer colors, with the apron remaining in Vieux Bois C02. Brushed brass or polished stainless steel hardware—cast aluminum, zinc alloy, and chrome-plated brass in the mixed-metal language of SAUZON—adds the functional elegance of period shop furniture.

Measuring 131 × 60 × 90 cm, the SAUZON GM Butcher Block occupies the footprint of a traditional sideboard while offering the utility of a true workstation. An optional towel rail and bespoke customizations are available. Oak construction available upon request.
