Description

PORNICHET draws inspiration from travel trunks and ocean liner cabins — a world where every centimeter is considered, every detail structural. The Service Sideboard translates this spirit into a functional, mobile piece that unites industrial rigor with artisanal warmth.

The work surface comes in end-grain hornbeam for chopping and Compaq Surface's UNIQUE CALACATTA quartz for pastry preparation and presentation. Below, a single soft-close drawer is punctuated by two solid brass handles and a brushed steel band — the signature PORNICHET detail that marries two metals in a single gesture. Two open lower shelves provide generous storage for glassware, linens, or serving utensils.

The structure is crafted from solid and veneered oak with distinctive hardware combining brushed brass and brushed steel. The apron is finished in Blond Oak C15; the body is available in a choice from a selection of De Kercoet lacquer colors or customized to your color upon request. Four non-marking transparent casters (two with brakes) ensure smooth and silent mobility; a fixed version without casters is available upon request.

Care and maintenance instructions

Wood surfaces Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh or abrasive products.
Stone surfaces Clean with a pH-neutral product. Avoid acidic or abrasive products.
Brass and steel Wipe with a soft cloth. Both metals will develop a living patina over time.
General care Avoid placing hot utensils directly on surfaces. Protect from direct sunlight.
