Description

Designed as a collection of living furniture, HOËDIC accompanies daily gestures as well as exceptional moments. The Desserte is perhaps the most versatile expression of this philosophy: a mobile piece that serves as a kitchen island, a cocktail cart, a display surface, or a plating station—wherever the occasion demands.

The worktop is available in three expressions: end-grain wood charm for those who work with a knife, white marble for pastry making and presentation, or black granite for a more contemporary and mineral character. Below, a single dovetail drawer on soft-close slides keeps utensils in good order. An integrated bottle rack keeps your current selection within reach; an open lower shelf provides generous storage for dishes, linens, or serving ware.

The structure is built from solid and veneered European oak, mounted on four non-marking polyurethane casters (two with brakes) for smooth and silent mobility. The frame is finished in Blond Oak C15; the body is available in a choice from a selection of De Kercoet lacquer colors or customized to your color upon request. Hardware in brushed brass or chrome-plated stainless steel.

Optional configurations include a pass-through drawer for use as a double-sided island, and one or two towel bars positioned according to your preference. The HOËDIC Desserte can also be ordered without casters, at a fixed height, for those who prefer a stationary presence.

Care and maintenance instructions

Wood surfaces Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Apply wood wax or oil once or twice a year.
End-grain wood surface Clean with a damp sponge and mild soap. Oil regularly with a food-safe mineral oil.
Stone surfaces Clean with a pH-neutral cleaning product. Avoid acidic products (lemon, vinegar).
General maintenance Avoid placing hot utensils directly on the surfaces. Protect from prolonged moisture.
