Description

The HOËDIC Medium Kitchen Island shares the same DNA as its larger counterpart—the same 19th-century heritage, the same uncompromising construction—in a footprint suited for spaces where every centimeter counts. At 121 cm wide, it fits naturally into galley kitchens, apartments, and smaller professional environments without sacrificing the generosity of the collection.

The mixed worktop pairs end-grain charm blocks with UNIQUE CALACATTA quartz from Compaq Surface, offering the functional versatility that defines the HOËDIC line: end-grain wood for chopping and prep, stone for dough, plating, and presentation. Four dual-sided drawers and a central cupboard with a shelf provide practical, beautiful storage, accessible from both sides.

The structure is built from solid and veneered European oak; and fully assembled with mortise-and-tenon joints. Brushed brass or chrome-plated stainless steel hardware adds a measured luster. The frame is finished in Blond Oak C15; the body is available in a selection of De Kercoet lacquer colors or customized to your color upon request.

Care and maintenance instructions

Wood surfaces Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Apply wood wax or oil once or twice a year.
End grain wood worktop Clean with a damp sponge and mild soap. Oil regularly with food-grade mineral oil.
Stone surfaces Clean with a pH-neutral cleaning product. Avoid acidic products (lemon, vinegar).
General Use trivets under hot utensils. Protect from prolonged moisture or direct sunlight.
