MARIUS Bar Stool

Named in honor of Marcel Pagnol, the MARIUS collection is dedicated to the bar and the art of entertaining. The bar stool embodies this spirit in its purest form: a round seat, gracefully curved legs, and a silhouette that belongs as naturally in a Parisian zinc bar as it does in a contemporary kitchen.

Crafted entirely from solid oak, the stool achieves a rare balance between visual lightness and structural solidity. At 77 cm, it is calibrated for bar-height counters. The seat is finished in Blond Oak, its surface revealing the warmth and density of hand-sanded European hardwood. The legs are available in any of De Kercoet's lacquer colors or customized to your own hue upon request, allowing for precise coordination with a MARIUS counter or a contrasting accent in an existing interior.

There is no upholstery to conceal the construction—and none is needed. The comfort lies in the slight concavity of the seat and the purity of the form. Every joint is hand-fitted; every curve is turned, not molded. This is furniture that trusts its material.
