Description

The HOËDIC MM Butcher's Block offers all the character of its big brother — the same 19th-century workshop heritage, the same dovetail construction, the same mixed worktop — in a size suitable for kitchens, country homes, and cottages where space is limited but standards are not.

The mixed worktop combines a removable end-grain hornbeam cutting board with a white marble or black granite block, all framed by a band of solid blond C15 oak. Four soft-close dovetail drawers and a cupboard with an adjustable central shelf provide practical, beautifully organized storage.

The structure is built from solid European oak and oak veneer. The piece is available in a selection of De Kercoet lacquer colors or customized to your color upon request; hardware comes in brushed brass or chrome-plated stainless steel. An optional backsplash (ref. FBT43-CRE) transforms the piece into a unified butcher's block and backsplash composition, complete with an integrated towel rail.

Care and maintenance instructions

Wood surfaces Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Apply wood wax or oil once or twice a year.
End-grain wood worktop Clean with a damp sponge and mild soap. Oil regularly with food-safe mineral oil.
Stone surfaces Clean with a pH-neutral product. Avoid acidic products (lemon, vinegar).
General Use trivets under hot utensils. Protect from prolonged moisture and direct sunlight.
