CANCALE celebrates the beauty of the essential — and the rectangular Butcher Block is its most distilled expression. At just 68 cm wide and 40 cm deep, it fits easily into galley kitchens, small alcoves, or alongside an existing countertop, bringing an artisanal character to spaces that larger pieces cannot reach.

The removable end-grain hornbeam cutting board, featuring side grooves for easy handling, provides a dense, self-healing cutting surface that professional chefs appreciate. Beneath, a single soft-close drawer with a signature handle keeps essentials in discreet order. The clean silhouette is pure CANCALE: bold lines, balanced volumes, nothing superfluous.

The frame is built from solid wood and beech veneer, with oak available upon request. The apron is finished in Vieux Bois C02; the cabinet in a selection of De Kercoet lacquer colors or customized to your color (on request). The hardware is brushed brass or chrome-plated stainless steel. Optional casters allow the butcher block to move wherever the moment requires.
