SAUZON Square Butcher Block

Description

The SAUZON Square Butcher Block is the most concentrated element of the collection — the entire icebox vocabulary compressed into a single sixty-centimeter cube. A cupboard with fixed central shelves and a soft-close drawer with characteristic shell handles: storage is minimal yet precise, designed for a kitchen that prioritizes order over excess.

The cupboard door can open to the left or right, a detail that transforms the butcher block from a standard unit into a site-specific solution — tucked into an alcove, flanking a range, or standing sentinel at the end of a counter. The fixed worktop is available in solid hornbeam end-grain wood or Compaq Surface UNIQUE CALACATTA quartz, with the same palette of finishes and hardware as every SAUZON piece.

Crafted from solid and veneered oak with cast aluminum, zinc alloy, and chrome-plated brass hardware, the Carré is offered in Blond Oak C15, in one of the De Kercoet lacquer colors, or customized to your color upon request. The apron is rendered in Blond Oak C15. An optional knife holder adds a functional note, and custom dimensions are available upon request.

At 60 × 60 × 90 cm, the SAUZON Square Butcher Block proves that the collection’s most compact footprint carries the same gravity as the largest. It is a piece for kitchens, pantries, dining rooms, and bars where space is limited but character is not.

Care and maintenance instructions

Wood Clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh or abrasive products.
Stone Wipe with a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid acidic or abrasive substances.
Metal Use a soft cloth and a non-abrasive polish for brass and stainless steel hardware.
General Do not place hot pots directly onto wood or stone surfaces.
